Man Loses 7 Teeth Due To Vape Explosion
Smoking is a known health risk. But after vaping was invented in 2003, everyone was more interested in smoking. Even non-smokers tried vaping and were impressed.
The practice was considered a life savior for many individuals who were trying to quit smoking. The vaping, which is executed through what is called an electronic cigarette or a vape pen, is a little more complicated than lighting up an organic cigarette.
The practice is barely lethal or dangerous. But vaping has taken quite a turn this year. A 30-year-old man from Idaho suffered quite a deal of pain when a vape pen exploded in his face. AOL reports that the man lost seven of his teeth and his face was left with second-degree burns.
Andrew Hall, the unfortunate man, worked as a car salesman. After being rushed to the hospital, he took to his Facebook account to address the issue and spread awareness.
He wrote that he felt the need to share this incident as there are probably many people out there who vape. "While I was getting ready for work yesterday morning something unexpected happened. I am currently in the ICU, I am fine but be aware these are some pretty graphic photos," he said. Hall also made it pretty clear that he was not toying with the e-cig.
"I have been vaping since nearly a year now and the thing just exploded in my face. I was not doing anything I was not supposed to. There have been multiple objects being pulled out of my nose, throat, and mouth," he added.
Daily Mail states that Andrew Hall who has three children was accused of lying so he justified his story by posting pictures of the wreckage in his bathroom that can all be viewed on his Facebook profile. The explosion was so severe that it cracked the countertop of his bathroom. Many say that he was quite lucky to have survived this explosion.
