All The Smartphones To Watch Out For In This Years Mobile World Congress

After the Las Vegas CES tech show, the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Spain will be the next big stage for smartphone makers to showcase their new flagship smartphones. Though the tech and gadget world had already be given a sort of a teaser preview of what the top brands in smartphones will be offering this 2017, the MWC is the perfect launching pad for their new flagship units.

The first smartphone to watch in this years MWC is the LG G6. Though LG's events does not really coincide with the MWC as it chose to held its prevent a day earlier, still the company has taken advantage of the hype surrounding the tech event to launch its LG G6. According to reports, the new LG smartphone will feature the nearly bezel-less 5.7 inch display that LG had developed.

Recent news also puts BlackBerry as one of the names to watch in the 2017 MWC. A new BlackBerry phone with a code name Mercury has long been reported to be released this 2017. The BlackBerry Mercury will reportedly run on Android.

Another key player to look for in MWC is Google. Though the tech giant has not been seen in a lot of MWC events, reports say that its new Android Wear 2.0 will be featured in this years event. The new line of Android wearable devices from the collaboration of LG and Google is reported to be released at the 2017 MWC.

Huawei is also reported to unveil its new flagship phone, the Huawei P10, at this years MWC. The tech and gadget community may also see the launch of a Huawei VR headset at Huawei's press event. HTC will also try to make it big with its new HTC Ocean. According to earlier reports, the HTC Ocean will be the first smartphone to have no buttons in any part of the device.
