Yahoo is facing queries of about two extensive hacks. Its buyout deal with Verizon, which is projected to be $4.8 billion was postponed. The deal was set on the first quarter but was moved on the second quarter of this year.

"The opportunities ahead with Verizon look bright," Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer said. The engagement of users to Yahoo is steady. Their devotion to the company and constant patronage causes sustained encouragement she added.

According to CNET, that news seems to have an appeal to Yahoo and Mayer, who still works in the business. In fact, the fourth-quarter income of Yahoo increases than expected as it surpasses the analysts' assessment.

Yahoo is swirling on the news regarding two hacks and its manipulation of email bugging. The company is presently under investigation by the Securities and Exchange Commission about the allegations. Verizon was previously reported of doubting about its takeover plan on Yahoo even before the controversies popped up.

"I'm very pleased with our Q4 results and incredibly proud of the team's execution on our 2016 strategic plan, particularly given the uniquely eventful past year for Yahoo," Mayer said. Yahoo is working to seal the negotiation with Verizon as soon as possible in Q2.

As per Hollywood Reporter, Verizon keeps on working with Yahoo to review the effect of data lapses about the delayed deal. Yahoo would still help in creating online traffic with its 1 billion-plus monthly average of different customers Verizon CFO Matt Ellis said.

Yahoo will not anymore allow Mayer for an interview. The company also declines the previous call the last quarter. It decides to remain silent because of its balance sale.

The said sale is currently in question since Yahoo is facing revelations of two extensive hacks. These are about passwords and personal information of users being lifted.

One incident was disclosed in September 2014 affecting 500 million user accounts. It was regarded to be the greatest cyberattack worldwide.

Three months after, Yahoo standout and revealed a hack happened in 2013 that affected billion accounts. The company was then experienced chaos. There are reports claiming that the cyberattacks and fallout issue of Yahoo have caused Verizon to interrupt the deal, the procurement price or both.
