According to the description, players will be controlling Capt. Willard in the "Apocalypse Now" first person RPG.
The "Apocalypse Now" gameplay will heavily be based on stealth. According to the description, the stealth of the character will be based on personal as well as character skills.
Players will also create their own version of Capt. Willard. The game is also described as employing both survival and psychological horror elements.
The "Apocalypse Now" video game project will bring together top game developers and motion picture professionals to develop the game. Interactive creatives are also said to be part of the development group.
According to the kickstarter description, the crowdsourcing initiative was done to maintain creative freedom and integrity. With 28 days to go, the kickstarter "Apocalypse Now" video game project already generated $101,050.
Backers can pledge any amount. However, special rewards are given depending on the amount pledged for those who pledges $35 to $10,000 .
