'Pokemon Go' News: Details on the 12th Migration Revealed; Talks of a Trading Feature are Re-Ignited
The 12th nest migration has taken place in the "Pokemon Go" database. Aside from new places where creatures can be found, Niantic has reportedly added the rumored trading feature. Fans around the globe have also started giving details about what they have observed of the changes in the latest migration.
It is worth noting that changes in "Pokemon Go" are quite unpredictable in terms of local nests. Niantic Labs has been altering nest locations for eleven times now and there's still no certainty if a certain species will stay in the usual locations or not. However, The Silph Road has just updated its tracker to help fans know what's new in the 12th migration that has taken place.
In the subreddit where players are allowed to report what they've discovered regarding new nest locations in "Pokemon Go," it appears that the developer has laid out numerous alterations. The species that experienced changes include: Electrobuzz - Sandslash, Charmander - Jynx, Mankey - Sandshrew, Oddish - Voltorb, and more. Check out the most updated list of migrated nests here.
Meanwhile, it was also reported that Niantic has included a new trading feature for "Pokemon Go." The said feature has been rumored for the past months but this is the first time evidence has emerged. However, the Daily Star reports that the evidence on the trading feature is actually more closely tied to "Pokemon Sun and Moon" instead of "Pokemon Go."
The outlet adds that it is more possible for the highly anticipated Gen 2 Pokemon to arrive into the "Pokemon Go" database first before the trading feature comes. The code cracked by data miners for the Pokemon Bank update have also not gone live yet. Another thing to note is, the Pokemon Bank expansion is meant for Nintendo 3DS.
It is unclear if Niantic will include a trading feature for "Pokemon Go" fans to explore. On the other hand, players are hoping that trading will soon be made possible in the hit augmented-reality mobile game. The developer has yet to officially address the matter.
