Be Smarter, Better In Bed & Live Longer With Hugh Jackman, Emma Watson’s Mindfulness Meditation

Health fitness enthusiasts are now moving away from achieving the buff bod image built by Arnold Schwarzenegger. People today now consider the wellness of their stamina in terms of physical, mental and spiritual strength first. Mindfulness meditation is then found to further boost happiness, energy, and well-being.

Daily Mail reported that Dr. Elizabeth Hoge of Massachusetts General Hospital conducted a research on the effectiveness of mindfulness meditation in the case of stress. The study she conducted included 89 patients with generalized anxiety disorder who undergone an eight-week mindfulness course. 

The study then made Hoge conclude that “Mindfulness meditation training is a relatively inexpensive and low-stigma treatment approach, and these findings strengthen the case that it can improve resilience to stress.” More so, Mirror reported that famous actors like Hugh Jackman, Emma Watson and even singers like Sady Frost are considered to be devotees who practice the ways according to the 100 Mindfulness Meditations book.

While the book was stated to be written by mindfulness meditation expert Neil Seligman, it was also stated that actors aren’t the only one who practices his book but devotes were armed forces schools and multinational companies as well. The expert also pointed out the benefit from mindfulness meditation.

As sex plays an important role in our wellbeing as stated, it was identified that mindfulness could deliver a person to be better in bed. This benefit is then supported by female sexual arousal expert Dr. Lori Brotto who mentioned that “sexually disconnected” women have their sexual sensations, desire and arousal increased through the meditation.

Another benefit was proven by the Dalian University of Technology in China which noted that a 20-minute meditation at least five days or even every day could do more than expected. The research said that less anxiety, lower levels of the stress hormone cortisol, and less fatigue could be achieved from mindfulness meditation.

The University of California as well conducted a research on how mindfulness meditation could help people to become smarter. The research found out that people who meditated before the cognitive skills tests were up to ten times better than those who didn’t.
