Planning To Pre-Order Nintendo Switch? Here's Why You Should Stop Yourself For Now
"I placed a pre-order for the Nintendo Switch after the presentation, but subsequent days show me Nintendo has no idea what they want this console to be." Apparently, Nintendo's latest console is making buzz online but not because of good reasons, instead, gamers are not happy with it because of several issues. One of which is that it still have several unanswered concerns, which left gamers puzzled about the console.
iDigitalTimes shared top 5 reasons about Nintendo Switch pre-orders should be canceled. First is because "Zelda" can also be played on WiiU. "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild", which shows the best trailer that the brand has come up, has almost an identical gameplay with both platforms. This left gamers asking whether a $300 investment on the machine is worth it or not.
It's also no secret that the Switch launch line-up happens infrequently. Aside from "Zelda", the next major game "Mario Kart 8 Deluxe" will be released in April while letting users wait until summer for "Splatoon 2." Also, despite several confirmations made about the console, Nintendo Switch still left gamers unanswered questions. Will switch feature a trophy system? How much will it cost for an internet access? How will its online feature and virtual console work? With only a few weeks before its release, gamers still have no idea.
Nintendo Switch also has a rather limited third-party support. With the brand making a name for a long time now, it's unfortunate to hear that some of the best third-parties like EA, Activision, and Ubisoft won't be there to support its games lineup. Furthermore, it's history with possible price drops is a clear sign that users should consider canceling their Nintendo Switch pre-orders. From $299, the company has dropped its price to $249 price tag as per Forbes. Although this sounds fair and good to many of its users, this could only mean that the console is struggling to gain its rightful sales.
