Nokia P1 Latest News And Updates: New Flagship Nokia Android Phone To Be Launch At MWC 2017, Price, Specs Revealed
The Mobile World Congress 2017 is fast approaching, and HMD is expected to launch the Nokia P1, which is a flagship Nokia Android phone. This new device is sounding great to be one among the highly-anticipated phones of 2017.
According to PC Advisor, Nokia and HMD invite reporters at the MWC 2017 to listen about the thrilling and upcoming episode of Nokia's user story. Before that, HMD will be hosting a special event for Nokia P1 that is set on Sunday, Feb. 26 at 4.30pm local time.
The Nokia P1 smartphone is likely to arrive having 128GB and 256GB storage versions, NDTV reported. The 128GB model is said to have an initial rate of approximately $800, nearly Rs. 54,500. Whereas, it's 256GB version will have a starting price of approximately $950, it's about Rs. 64,700.
The official price and availability of Nokia P1 will be revealed during the MWC 2017 on Feb. 26, HMD Global will do the hosting. It is likely to be launch only in China and soon to be released worldwide.
The Nokia P1 is a rewarding and high-end Android phone with a metal frame. It has a dual-SIM slot, which is situated on the left side whereas both the volume and power switches are on the right edge. There's a Carl Zeiss lens at the back alongside Nokia logo in a vertical position.
The USB Type-C port, speaker grille, and 3.5mm audio jack are all located at the bottom edge of the Nokia P1. The Home Button is seemingly rested under the display and above the fingerprint scanner.
As seen in the leak, the Nokia P1 is presented in Silver, Black, and Rose Gold color alternatives. It is likely to run on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box arriving in 5.3-inch display with Gorilla Glass 5 on top. It is either with full-HD or QHD screen resolution. The device is claimed to contain the most-recent Snapdragon 835 SoC matched with 6GB of RAM.
Even though the Nokia P1 is set for an MWC 2017 release, this processor option appears uncertain. This is because; speculations claim that the Samsung Galaxy S8 will be the first handset to arrive containing the newest Qualcomm processor.
