Donald Trump The Moth: Moth Named After Having A Resemblance with Donald Trump
Recently US President elected, Donald Trump prepared his self to receive an appreciation for being the 45th President of the United States last January 20, 2017, inauguration, and a newly discovered moth has been named after him.
The reason behind this was that the President-elect's hairstyle has been associated with the moth's distinctive yellow and white scales. The new species of moth has been discovered by a biologist and researcher from Ottawa, Canada named Vazrick Nazari.
The tiny creature has been called by a name, "Neopalpa Donaldtrumpi" which is really close to the name of the US President Donald Trump. Neopalda Donaldtrumpi was found in parts of California and Baja, Mexico. As Donald Trump favors in winning the election it seems that even the little moth, shows a familiar-looking crown of yellowish scales CNN reported. The little moth looks charismatic as Donald Trump did during the election all it need is a tiny red hat.
When Nazari discovered this little moth, he immediately knows what to do and he said that by just looking with its hair tufts he had no choice but to name this little moth after Donald Trump. However, beyond this Nazari has a deeper reason for it - it is to bring attention and awareness in protecting habitats.
"The choice of this name is that to hope that it would bring public attention to the importance of conservation especially the fragile habitats in the U.S. and continue to generate interest in the importance of alpha-taxonomy," Nazari explained to CNN.
Nazari hopes that Trump would appreciate this kind of act because according to Nazari having a species named after you could bring honor and legacy since it is immortal in the scientific literature.
