iPad Pro 2 Specs, Release Date, News & Updates: 3 New Tablet Models To Have Apple Pencil, Smart Keyboard & More!
Apple had been the prominent giant in terms of tablets and smartphones running in its very own iOS. Yet, Apple’s iPad Pro and iPad Air 2 inventory have been running low. In addition to that, the iPad Pro 2 rumors and speculations have started.
According to Gotta Be Mobile, iPad Pro 2 rumors have been piled up. Japan’s Mac Otakara said that there are 7.9-inch, 10.1-inch and a 12.9-inch iPad Pro 2. On the contrary, Ming-Chi Kuo a prominent analyst speculated that there would be 9.7-inch, 10.5-inch, 12.9-inch iPad Pro variants.
Yet, amid those disputes, their speculations have similar features after all. It was said that the upcoming iPad Pro 2 would have its True Tone display for the largest variant. Meanwhile, a 12-megapixel rear-facing iSight camera is guessed as well.
Fortunately, Inquisitr reported that the iPad Pro 2 is said to remove the usual TouchID sensor with a bezel-less design. A more powerful processor A10X chip is speculated as well since the iPhone 7 uses an A10 chip. The Apple Pencil for the iPad Pro 2 is said to be now attached to the tablet via magnet.
Patently Apple also revealed that Apple had been vying for a patent as what US Patent & Trademark Office had released. In which, the patent could be what the iPad Pro 2 improved Smart Keyboard could feature.
More so, the alleged Smart Keyboard patent for the iPad Pro 2 is shown to have keys specifically made for Sharing and of course, the ever loved Emoji characters. Siri to be accessed through the Smart Keyboard was hinted as well. Meanwhile, the Search button to access Settings, Camera, Photos, clock, Messages, Calendar, notes and more was showed as well.
With the release of the iPad Pro and iPhone SE in a March event last year, it was also mentioned that Apple could host an event ahead of the WWDC 2017 in June for the iPad 2 Pro release. Apple releasing its Apple Watch and MacBook last March 2015. Yet, no confirmations have been announced by the tech giant, so amid rumors, it’s still best advised to wait and see.
