‘Final Fantasy VII’ Remake, ‘Kingdom Hearts 3’ Screenshots Reveal Game Boss, Gameplay & New Heartless, Keyblade at MAGIC 2017 [PHOTOS]
“Final Fantasy VII” Remake and “Kingdom Hearts 3” new features, information and gameplay had been long awaited by fans all over the world. Fortunately, company Square Enix had game director Tetsuya Nomura reveal some juicy Intel on what’s in store for the gamers.
At the Monaco Anime Game International Conference 2017, (MAGIC) Nomura had unveiled screenshots for the awaited new game features of “Final Fantasy VII” Remake and “Kingdom Hearts 3.” As VG247 reported the screenshots of the two games would have “Kingdom Hearts 3” screenshot to happen in Olympus. Meanwhile, “FF VII” has its screenshot at Sector 1 Mako Reactor.
Thus, regarding the “Kingdom Hearts 3,” Nomura had stated that it’s the first image released for the game. In which it takes place in Thebes. With Sora’s Keyblade now being able to transform into “various forms,” which is shown to be used as a shield. Yet, it also could transform into a chariot thanks to its new Power Form to battle out a new model of a Heartless as Nomura mentioned.
Meanwhile, the “Final Fantasy VII” remake gameplay had been hinted by Nomura that allies would now take no damage from grenades but the scenery would still be partly destructible. Nomura then identified the combat system shown in the screenshot to now occur without disruption.
Afterward, Nomura then showed what appears to be a giant Scorpion which he said would be the game’s first boss. He was also said to show a video of the “FF VII” but Square Enix denied his request. Yet, Nomura said that more information would be given on another occasion.
Speaking about the game's release, Mic noted that the “Final Fantasy VII” is slated for a PlayStation 4 release while “Kingdom Hearts 3” is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Moreover, as Square Enix had used anniversaries to announce past game releases, it was speculated that the “Kingdom Hearts 3” release could happen on its 15th anniversary of the “Kingdom Hearts” franchise on March 28 alongside with “Final Fantasy VII” Remake.
Rest assured, as usual, gamers would have to wait for the official release date of “Final Fantasy VII” Remake and “Kingdom Hearts 3.”
