'Beauty and the Beast' Misses Original Melody Of Legendary Classic
Almost everyone in their childhood has read the epic fairy tale of the "Beauty and The Beast". It is a tale of a young woman, who is abducted by a beast and is imprisoned in the stone castle. In due course of time, she finds love with the beast.
The classic animated film had been released in 1991 previously and recently director Bill Condon has adapted the classic tale as well. Disney has also released the video of the new live action film, featuring the song, but the promo has failed to have an impact similar to the old one. However the animation fans find, nowhere near what the original animated classic has been. However, the in 1991 was a cartoon version and the recent one is a theatrical version of the movie, reported Screen Rant.
The trailer of "Beauty and The Beast" was released on the Valentine's Day, a perfect day for releasing something associated with love. The teaser has been purposely designed with the identical shots from the original classic but it lacks the class of the original animated classic film, revealed The Week.
The film is about the life of a young, cheerful, beautiful, bright and independent girl Belle who is being held captive in a huge stone castle by a beast. In the beginning, she is scared but gradually befriends the enchanted staff and talks to them. In time she gets to know that under the hideous exterior of the beast lies a kind-hearted prince. The movie is all about how the Beauty Bella falls in love with the beast.
The clip of "Beauty and The Beast" is not very long and reveals two important characters of the movie- Gaston and Le Fou. Although it has failed to hold the attention of the viewers, the movie is surely worth a visit. Disney has planned a special night for the grand opening in the 600 theaters across US.
