HGTV’s “Fix Upper” is a show hosted by expert designers Chip and Joanna Gaines. The show then revolves around the couple transforming run down or messed up houses into fabulous classy homes. The couple then spoke about a possible relocation from their hometown Waco Texas to New York.
According to Fox News, with an interview in KILLZ Master Class and media tour of Magnolia Market in Waco, “Fixer Upper” runners Chip and Joanna discussed where they would possibly relocate if they were given the chance. Chip then prioritized their four babies saying the farther they relocate far from home, the harder they would find to balance things.
Yet, the two “Fixer Upper” hosts admitted that they did consider relocating from their hometown Texas. Chip then jokingly said that the children would appreciate if they would live in Las Vegas, Nevada. While Jo said that New York City would be the best. Yet, Jo clarified that they aren’t moving away from Waco.
With that said, if ever the “Fixer Upper” couple would move, Cosmopolitan noted some of the things that would change in their family and show in New York City. One change mentioned is that while the kids play with horses and farm animals in Waco, while they would play with rats and pigeons instead in New York City. The second is Chip’s favorite Demo day would be a no more since NYC board wouldn’t allow to let him tear anything if they would renovate a co-op building.
Furthermore, New York City contractor gives no left over budget compared to “Fixer Upper” Waco residents who get to choose bonus from their leftover money. Another “Fixer Upper” change is Jo’s cupcake sideline to not be preferred by New Yorkers over favored doughnuts.
