Microsoft Surface Pro 5, Windows 10 Creators Update's Back-To-Back Release Is Set In April

Microsoft did not present the Surface Pro 5 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 event. But Microsoft's analyst Paul Thurrott predicted that the company will unveil the most-awaited device this spring.

According to Tech Radar, Microsoft is likely to launch the Surface Pro 5 alongside the Windows 10 Creators Update. The tech company is preparing to release the Microsoft Creators Update for Windows 10 to a large-scale of PCs in April.

This “Creators Update,” as Microsoft claims it, comprises everything from the operation improvements to 3D design software. It’s a set of events that will last for months.

The Windows 10 Creators Update, which is 3GB in size, is the third major update to the OS since its last arrival in July 2015. The devices included in the upcoming update debuts are the Microsoft Surface Pro 5, Surface Book 2 and the most-anticipated Surface Phone.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will be sporting a 4K display, which is detachable. This high-quality tablet could, likewise, equipped with rechargeable Surface Pen and dock. The 2-in-1 hardware will show off a USB-C support and multiple device connection abilities as well.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is expected to run Qualcomm Snapdragon 635 processor coupled with 16GB of RAM. According to PC Advisor, the benefits of this would support a longer battery life and the addition of LTE for mobile connectivity. Nevertheless, previous reports claimed that an Intel Kaby Lake chip was another option.

In addition, the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will be released to regain the trusts of users due to the Surface Pro 4's defects. It can be recalled that the battery life of Surface Pro 4 only lasts for 5 hours and 15 minutes.

Now, the upcoming reiteration model has an improved battery performance. Since there’s no official release date yet, the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will reach the market, not until April.
