Mariah Carey Ended Romance With Bryan Tanaka: Backup Dancer Jealous Of Nick Cannon
Mariah Carey and his backup dancer boyfriend, Bryan Tanaka breaks up after almost five months of dating. Tanaka is reportedly jealous of the “Hero” singer’s ex-husband.
According to TMZ, Mariah Carey broke up with boyfriend Bryan Tanaka because of a jealousy issue. The 47-year-old pop singer’s amicable relationship to Nick Cannon who is the father of her kids caused the 34-year-old dancer, and choreographer felt uneasy.
Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey got divorced in November 2014 but kept in touch with each other for the sake of their twins Monroe and Moroccan, PEOPLE reported. They stay close to co-parent their children, and their connection allegedly annoyed Bryan Tanaka.
As a result, Bryan Tanaka flirted with other women obviously showing off to Mariah Carey as revenge. He got even more offended when Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon joined their twins at the Kids’ Choice Awards in March.
It is also reported that Mariah Carey and Bryan Tanaka parted ways due to the latter’s spending habit. Speculations suggests that their romantic relationship began when they were spotted together enjoying a vacation at Maui’s Grand Wailea Resort in Hawaii in November 2016.
“The split happened very recently. Mariah ended it — everyone hoped that she would. She has better things to focus on,” a source told the news outlet. “Mariah is happy. She is focusing on her kids and new music.”
Bryan Tanaka became a decent diversion when Mariah Carey separated from ex-fiancée James Packer in October 2016. In fact, this is a right timing for the singer to be out of love life to have time for herself, the source added.
Meanwhile, Nick Cannon reacted to the accusation Monday, April 10 “Most men are jealous of me. I’m joking. But I know nothing about it,” he told Entertainment Tonight. The 36-year-old "Wild 'N Out" star even shared to the outlet that Mariah Carey is an amazing mother, and they focus on their twins.
