Lenovo Moto Z2 Play: Possible Designs And Specs Revealed
Lenovo released in 2016 the Moto Z Play, which was one of the most famous average smartphones that time. Now, speculations are circulating online about Lenovo's new smartphone dubbed as Moto Z2 Play.
Reports are claiming that Moto Z2 Play is as powerful as its ancestor. Its design is not a surprise for those who already own a Moto Z Play.
According to TechnoBuffalo, the Moto Z2 Play contains a noticeable circle-shaped rear camera hump like the Moto Z Play. The new handset’s unique design is its home button that could function as a fingerprint sensor. It is also to support swiping actions that can substitute on-screen navigation guides like the Moto G5 and G5 Plus. Lastly, its entire body is slightly slimmer.
The specs of Moto Z2 Play are still strange and only the last year’s model could provide a great edge of reference. According to Digital Trends, Moto Z2 Play is likely to sport a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with 1920 x 1080 pixels, protected with Gorilla Glass 3. The handset may be powered by a 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM.
Moto Z2 Play would also possibly to sport a fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C connector and a 32GB internal storage, which can be extended with microSD. If the new device is like its ancestor, it should provide high-quality photos since last year’s model is packed with a great set of cameras.
It would be expected that Moto Z2 Play has a 5MP front camera with a f/2.2 aperture and 1.4 µm pixels. On the other hand, the rear 16MP snapper is paired with f/2.0 aperture, dual-LED flash, and phase detection and laser autofocus.
Like Moto Z Play, the Moto Z2 Play might sport a 3,510mAh battery that could survive for almost a day and a half when fully charged. It would also likely to support Motorola’s TurboPower quick charging technology. This can release up to hours of battery life even when the device is only charged for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, there are no details yet of how much Moto Z2 Play would cost. The anticipated phone could also be announced on June 8 at the earliest.
