Miley Cyrus, 24, has a secret role in the “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" movie which will hit theaters on Friday, May 5. She will voice Mainframe, a developed technology that is a replacement version of Vision in the Marvel comics.
Disney confirmed to Entertainment Tonight on Friday, April 21 that “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” will feature the voice of the "Wrecking Ball" singer. Further details about Miley Cyrus’ role is to be revealed the soonest.
"I heard that she's uncredited and a voice somewhere." I know I've heard that," Dave Bautista, 48, who play the role of Drax the Destroyer in “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” initially revealed.
Since the first film was released in 2014, the Marvel Cinematic Universe involved an original group of superheroes. Writer-director James Gunn adapted it for the silver screen, Screen Rant reported.
Gunn was immediately welcomed in the MCU wrap with “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2,” believing to be an instant box-office hit to all viewers. In fact, the film was considered as a sequel to the plotted trilogy of movies planned to, “tell one story.”
Now that, “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2,” as the second installment creation of Gunn is fast approaching, many fans are excited about a lot of things. It is especially because new and reprising characters were included in the film even though some of them don't have a live-action appearance.
Meanwhile, director Gunn said previously that “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2,” will be having a sequel. "There is a history in Hollywood of haphazard endings to trilogies, and I didn't want to become a part of that dishonorable tradition of pretending the third one doesn't exist," he shared via Facebook.
Gunn claimed that his plan for a third Guardians film is not for the money and is not because fans demanded it. But instead, he desired to do it because it was what he needed to do. "So, yes, I'm returning to write and direct "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3," he said.
