Samsung Galaxy Note 8 May Be Launched At IFA 2017 In September
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 may be launched at the IFA 2017 in September. The device is said to be safer and better than its predecessor Galaxy Note 7 released in 2016.
The most-awaited device was confirmed earlier this year, and an IFA executive director Jens Heithecker prompted a launching schedule. “My personal perspective is that IFA would be the better place (to unveil the new Note smartphone),” he said at an IFA press conference in Lisbon on Saturday, according to The Korea Times.
“The big advantage is that we have a lot of media and journalists from all around the world in Berlin. It is not possible to bring them all together in other cities wherever it is, in August. That’s our offer,” he added.
However, the South Korean giant tech company didn’t yet release an official announcement regarding Samsung Note 8 launching at the IFA, Gadgets Post reported. In addition, speculations are raging that Samsung will conduct a separate event in New York solely for the new device.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 fiasco last year caused a great shame in the company. But its predecessor Samsung Galaxy Note 8 of 2017 was well improved to restore the Note series. The phablet is reported to arrive in a 6.5-inch display with QHD resolution and SuperAMOLED panel. It's also likely to be powered by Snapdragon 835 processor with 6GB or 8GB RAM.
Furthermore, KGI analyst Ming-Ci Kuo suggested that Samsung Galaxy Note 8 would sport a dual-camera structure. It is going to pack 12MP wide-angle lens and 13MP telephoto lens. An iris scanning and facial recognition, digital assistant Bixby and a new S-Pen are also expected in the device.
Basing on its images surfaced online, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is almost similar to Galaxy S8. The new phablet is also to have an Infinity display and pressure-sensitive on-screen home button just like the Galaxy S8.
