Penn Jillette Photo Shows Weight Loss of 105 lbs; Amazing Diet Revealed

Penn Jillette, a popular magician, actor, and comedian, lost 105 pounds in four months thanks to an amazing diet.

The 60-year-old entertainer who stands at 6'7" was able to go from 330 pounds to 225 by changing his eating habits following Dr. Joel Fuhrman's Eat To Live diet plan, according to BoingBoing.

"I was on six very powerful meds to bring the blood pressure down," Jillette tells PEOPLE Magazine. "My doctor said I needed to get my weight down, and if I brought it down 30 or 40 lbs. it would be a little easier to control. And then he said something in passing that completely blew my mind - he said, 'If you got down to 230, you probably wouldn't need any of the meds.'"

It was because of this that from December 2014 to March 2015, Jilette started eating only 1,000 calories per day which allowed him to lose approximately one pound per day. It took him four months to reach his goal weight on March 5 this year - his birthday. Since then, the "Wizard Wars" judge follows Dr. Fuhrman's Nutritarian diet. He does not consume animal products, processed grains, and foods with added sugar or salt.

"I eat unbelievable amounts of food but just very, very, very healthy food," the magician says. "I could probably have a steak or a doughnut every couple of weeks, but I just haven't felt like it. When you're feeling as bad as I felt, and you go to feeling as good as I feel, the temptation to go back to doing what you were doing when you felt bad is not very great."

His daily meals consist of (sans breakfast) a lunch salad with vinegar or dressing and dinner of three lbs. worth of greens with three servings of rice (black or brown) with vegetable stew. For dessert, he consumes fruits - his favorite being blueberries - with plain cocoa powder. He also snacks on vegetables paired with vinegar or Tabasco sauce.

He was not exercising during his weight-loss phase but he now says that "it's really fun to exercise."

"The only hard part of exercise is keeping it hard enough to be hard," he shares. He exercises several days of the week by doing weight lifting, 10-mile tricycle rides, juggling, and the "scientific seven-minute workout."

Jilette says that he is happier with his lifestyle change because it made him "feel so good" and that he has "so much energy."

The "Penn & Teller Show" star also says that his family also noticed this.

"My relationship with my children has always been wonderful - I always spend a lot of time with them, but now they know that I'm a lot more energetic," Jilette said. "They notice that and like that."

The only down side to his weight loss, Jilette shares in PEOPLE magazine, is that he had to get expensive new suits for the "Penn & Teller Show."
