Miranda Lambert Weight Loss 2015: Hot Singer's Diet & Exercise Routine Revealed
Country singer Miranda Lambert flaunted her slim body recently in the 50th Academy of Country Music Awards on April 19, 2015. According to Extra TV, as seen in the video below, she started losing weight after she turned 30 years old. She explains to an Extra reporter that it was because she decided to live a healthier lifestyle.
She managed to maintain her 45-pound weight loss since then and revealed a slim body in this year's ACM awards, says the Examiner. She looked stunning in her cleavage-bearing, grey-silver gown from Bibhu Mohapatra as she posed for pictures.
Hollywood Take reports that the wife of Shelton Blake practices portion control by cutting everything she eats in half. She also adjusts some of the ingredients in her food to lose weight. Even though she has decided to eat healthier, she still eats the dishes she loves.
Lambert stated that her weight fluctuated due to her "junk-food diet" in her twenties, reports the Examiner. The site adds that along with portion control, Lambert does cardio exercises and "fat-burning circuit-training workouts."
The six-time winner of the Best Female Vocalist of the Year awards says, "Small portions help. I haven't given up everything. I try to just cut everything in half. We do cardio and a lot of circuit-training."
Another tip Miranda shared with the Examiner is to keep away from the scale. She says, "The scale is something that can be your worst enemy when you're trying to lose weight." The Examiner reports the Country singer believes "constantly weighing yourself is an exercise torture."
Instead of weighing in, Lambert suggests using clothes as a way to see if some weight have been shed. "I usually just judge by my clothes," she says.
There were several rumors that Miranda had surgery to lose weight or was anorexic, reports the Examiner. However, Lambert denies such rumors.
According to the Examiner Lamberts writes in a blog, "I did not have surgery to lose weight. That is ridiculous. I lost my weight the healthy and good-old fashioned way. Watching what I eat and working out with my trainer Bill Crutchfield."
According to Inquisitr, Lambert was approached by several weight loss companies to lose the extra weight. However, the ACM Album of the Year winner for "Platinum" rejected all offers.
Apart from her awards for Best Female Vocalist and Album of the Year, Lambert also won the Song of the Year award for "Automatic" at the 2015 ACM Awards.
