Nike will be releasing a new set of sneakers to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Air Max 90. According to the official Nike website, the new sneaker set is named Nike Air Max 2015 "Anniversary Pack."

The sneaker company's website states that the Air Max "Anniversary Pack" will be released on Friday, May 15, 2015 at 10:00 AM EDT. The sneaker will release a version for men and women, both costing $190 USD each. According to Sneaker Bar Detroit, the "Anniversary Pack" will be available in select Nike Sportswear retailers and on Nike.com.

The "Anniversary Pack" edition is an ode to the Air Max 90, reports a Nike blog. According to the site, the new Air Max editions do not follow the entire color-blocking seen in its predecessor. However, the bright crimson colorway is a reminder of the AM 90's OG "Infrared" colorway.

For those who are looking to buy the shoes, the model number for the Men's Air Max "Anniversary Pack" is 724367-600, while the model number for the women's version is 726452-600. Knowing the model numbers might be useful since both versions of the shoe look strikingly alike.

The official colorway of both sneakers is bright crimson, reports Nike. The site describes the sneakers as having an "ultra-breathable upper and maximum cushioning." The Boombox reports that the material used to build the shoes in this pack is engineered mesh.

Meanwhile, Sneaker Bar Detroit states the sneakers "are fully dressed in Bright Crimson covering the entire upper, with Reflective Silver detailing on the back-end of the Nike Swoosh logo." The site adds that the tongue, Flywire, and the Nike Swoosh branding have spotted black accents. In addition, the outsole for both shoes can be described as icy translucent.

At the heel of the shoes, on the outsole, is the name "Air Max." The sign "Nike" is on the tongue of the sneakers in the same bright crimson color as the rest of the shoe. Underneath the "Nike" sign on the tongue is the sign "AirMax" written in black.

It might also be important to note that the iconic Nike swoosh is placed backwards on the sides of both versions of shoe. Also, these sneakers seem to be slip-ons, since there is no need to actually tie the laces.

Another version of the Air Max can be seen in the video below. That particular version was made out of velvet.
