Jennifer Lawrence, Chris Martin Split: Break-up Amicable; Jen & Nicholas Hoult Back Together? [Rumors]

It would seem that "Hunger Games" star Jennifer Lawrence, and "Coldplay" frontman, Chris Martin, are not meant to be.

Rumors that the couple have broken up, again, have spread.

According to US Weekly, this is the second time the celebrity couple has broken up in the past year. In November 2014, the couple called it quits, only to get back together one month later.

An insider tells US Weekly that the couple split due to their hectic schedules. "Jen has been working non-stop and they never saw each other," said the insider.

Apparently, the relationship was at its wits end anyway, since it has been strained for the past few months. According to the insider, "[their relationship] ran its course."

Both Lawrence, 24, and Martin, 38, seem to be taking the split very well, however, since they have both been seen with other people already.

Martin was seen just last week walking down the streets of London in the wee hours of the morning with singer Kyle Minogue, reports TMZ.

However, the Austailian singer's representative has debunked rumors that Minogue and Martin are in a romantic relationship, reports News.com.au.

Lawrence, on the other hand, does not seem to be hurt at all by the break-up either. She was seen in New York recently, looking stylishly fabulous in stilettos and blond hair extensions.

The "X-Men: Days of Future Past" star was also recently linked to ex-boyfriend and co-star Nicholas Hoult. According to RTE, Hoult and Lawrence dated for four years until their break-up in early 2014. 

US Weekly's insider says, "[Hoult and Lawrence are] on great terms now. And their families have stayed close."

Apparently, the two have been spending a lot of time together lately, as they are working on a new movie together, "X-Men: Apocalypse".

Just last month, Bryan Singer posted a picture with the two "X-Men" stars on Instagram during the filming of the movie. Lawrence is shown sporting a huge smile on her face as if her relationship was not going through a rough patch at the time.

Fuel was probably added to the fire when a clip from "X-Men: Days of Future Past: The Rogue Cuts" was released, showing Hoult and Lawrence enthralled in a very intimate, steamy kiss, reports VC Post.

The extended cut of "X-Men: Days of Future Past" will be available for purchase on July 14. It includes the kissing scene between Hoult and Lawrence and additional 17 minutes of footage.
