After the huge success of "Frozen" in 2013, everyone especially the little kids who have fallen in love with Queen Elsa, Princess Anna and Olaf have been excited to know what will happen next.

Thankfully, after the release of the movie short Frozen Fever, which was shown before the actual viewing of Cinderella in movie theaters, Disney has announced that a sequel aptly called "Frozen 2" is in the works, and might be released in 2017, according to Hollywood Reporter.

Coming Soon reported that Josh Gad, the actor who lent his voice to the lovable snowman Olaf, has revealed during an interview for his upcoming Sony action-comedy "Pixels" that the scriptwriters and producers are already in the talks as to how to develop the story for "Frozen 2" further. Gad is excited about the developments and can't wait to have it shown to the public as he believes "it is going to be wonderful."

Many fans are now speculating as to what the plot will be. Australian Network News believes it can be a love story for Queen Elsa, which can be a great addition to the beautiful story of Princess Anna and Kristoff. Maybe a cute Jack Frost to melt the heart of the Ice Queen?

Disney will probably add more acts of true love, as it has definitely made the relationship of Elsa and Anna stronger, and a few more quotable quotes from Olaf because "some people are worth melting for" is just too adorable to pass.

Another twist that speculators are eyeing is the addition of an evil female villain which may complicate the lives of our main characters. CrossMap states the possibility of having a villain with fire power can be the best plot as it will be a tale of fire against ice - a great twist on the battle of evil versus good.

The site also contemplates on the return of Prince Hans, which can probably be depicted as a changed man and a good love interest for Queen Elsa. This rumor, however, could be stretching the imagination far too wide, because many fans hated Prince Hans in the first film because of what he did to Princess Anna. But it will definitely be in true Disney fashion when a bad guy is shown in a better light. Take Maleficent as an example.

There is no release date for Frozen 2 yet but it will more than likely be shown on 2017 or 2018 as the cast has already been revealed. Kristen Bell and Josh Gad will reprise their roles as Princess Anna and Olaf, while Idina Menzel has yet to comment if she will return as Queen Elsa for the sequel. Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck will still be the writers for the Frozen 2 movie.
