Toronto-based personal trainer and athlete Adam Paulin has created the latest weight loss tool that can make people lose about 1000 calories per day just by wearing it, The Daily Mail UK reports. Introducing the "Thin Ice" insole and vest, the newest and hi-tech clothing range that can aid individuals in losing weight by tricking the body that its temperature has been reduced, forcing it to warm up and increase the speed of metabolism.
Paulin said based on the prototypes, data from the competitors and analysis, the Thin Ice clothes can burn about 500 to 1000 calories in a day by simply putting it on during the recommended hours. He also said that even though the device can lower the temperature of the body, the wearer will not feel until the adaptation process is complete. He describes the sensation as to jumping in a pool of cold water.
Business at IT Business adds that through the device, an individual may expect to lose one to two pounds in a week even without the help of diet change and exercise. Thin Ice targets the part of the body with elevated thermo-receptors, making the system produce a metabolic response to provide heat all-over the body. Once the blood warms up, the body starts burning extra calories and reducing fat.
Trusted Reviews further states that the device works on Peltier cooling chips, a technology that uses compact cooling systems powered by rechargeable batteries. This latest innovation allows heat to penetrate one side while maintaining the other side cooler. These are often used as coolers for electronics to avoid overheating.
Furthermore, Palin believes that the Thin Ice can promote a long-term weight management with its users because as about 50 percent of the daily food intake is already being maintained by the body, by slightly altering this with the use of Thin Ice can lead to a bigger and better metabolism.
Shipping will begin in December and a package of two insoles and a vest retails at $145.
