As the release date of the WWE 2K16 nears, fans are getting a flood of information about the game, half of which are rumors. Fortunately, there are a few rumors that have been confirmed to be true.

IGN has confirmed that there will be approximately 120 WWE wrestlers in the game. In addition, every Monday morning until Oct. 27, IGN will release a couple of names on the WWE 2K16 roster, reports the Examiner.

On Monday, Aug. 10, IGN revealed several legendary names that will be featured in the game, including: Booker T, Colonel Mustafa, Emma, Eva Marie, General Adnan, Kalisto, Kane, Lord Steven Regal, Sin Cara, Summer Rae, Tamina Snuka, and none other than Triple H himself.

Previously, the following wrestlers were announced on the WWE 2K16 roster: Steve Austin, Seth Rollins, Daniel Bryan, Dean Ambrose, Bad News Barrett, Paige, Finn Balor, Alexa Bliss, The Rock, and Andre the Giant.

While fans are probably disappointed that Hulk Hogan will not make an appearance in the game, they will be excited to know that Arnold Schwarzeneggar has been confirmed to be in the game.

The Inquistr states that each of the characters in the game will be a different person, rather than a different version of the wrestler. Additinally, 2K has decided to add wrestlers from the past and present, including wrestlers from WWE NXT.

The Inquistr suggests that WWE fans would want to see other WWE NXT wrestlers like Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe. The site predicts that if stars like Owens or Joe do not make it into the initial roster, 2K will most likely include them in later DLC packs.

Other than a larger roster, WWE 2K16 will have several additional changes that fans will surely relish. For instance, 2K has included MyCareer into the game again. The MyCareer mode will be longer as well. Gamers will get to play until they gain admission to the WWE Hall of Fame.

In addition, Create a Diva, Create a Show, Create an Arena, and Create a Chapion have all returned. Futhermore, in the WWE Universe, wrestlers can also be booked in multiple shows in WWE 2K16.

Other changes have been introduced as well like a three-man commentary team. John "Bradshaw" Layfield (JBL) has been included to the commentary team along with Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole.

2K has also fixed the problem concerning the loading screen departure time, which aggrevated gamers last year. This year, 2K got rid of loading screens altogether and gamers will be able to assualt their opponents as they enter!.

WWE 2K16 will be released on Oct. 27 in the United States and on Oct. 30 internationally, states Bleacher Report.
