'Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice' News Update: Wonder Woman's Fight Scene With Doomsday Has a 'Reversal' [Rumors]

While "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" is set to be shown next year, many fans can't wait to see how the movie will actually turn out, especially after the last trailer has been released, showing Wonder Woman in action.

According to Heroic Hollywood, this film will be the first time the Amazonian warrior princess will be featured in a cinematic performance, and it looks like Gal Gadot's character will be playing more than sultry looks with Ben Affleck's Bruce Wayne.

In the trailer, Wonder Woman is seen in an armor, draws up a sword, and chops off Doomsday's hand! The mega fight doesn't end there as the trailer also shows that Doomsday has a "reversal" capability and grows a bone blade to replace his severed hand.

Screen Rant states that the mega fight could be the reason why Wonder Woman is wearing a suit of armor instead of her iconic costume, because fighting Doomsday can definitely be a hard task for anyone. Just take a look at what happened to Superman in the '90s classic "Death of Superman." 

With the inclusion of Doomsday to the movie, several storylines can be derived to make the plot even more plausible, closing in on the rumored 'different Lex Luthor' role Jesse Eisenberg has been talking about in previous reports. This monstrous villain can be the common foe that unites Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman in the end or it could spin a way for Lex to kill Superman.

In related news, Comic Book writes that Henry Cavill, the actor playing Superman in Batman vs Superman, has dropped major news bombs when he was asked, in an Uproxx interview, about his Superman role in the film.

Cavill said there is a bigger plan being cooked up by Warner Bros. for all of the DC comics superheroes. He also states that each of the characters will have their own story which will all be tied up in the end.

Whatever DC Entertainment is planning, it looks like it will be another epic movie that everyone can't wait to see. "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" will be released on March 25, 2016.
