'Assassin's Creed: Syndicate' spoilers & news update: time to hunt down Jack the Ripper
Ubisoft has announced the Season Pass for "Assassin's Creed: Syndicate" which contains a Jack the Ripper campaign.
Those who will purchase the $89.99 Gold Edition of "Assassin's Creed: Syndicate" will have the chance to go toe to toe with Jack the Ripper. According to New Game Network, the Season Pass will be included in the gold edition or can be sold separately. The game will be available on Xbox One and PS4 on Oct. 23 and on Windows PC on Nov. 19.
The Season Pass will enable the player to collaborate with a Scotland Yard detective Frederick Abberline to hunt down one of history's most prolific and mysterious killers: Jack the Ripper. According to Mashable, Ubisoft describes the campaign as "a deadly game of cat and mouse" and is unclear if the player will be able to find or even assassinate the Ripper himself. The mission will take place in London during the Autumn of Terror in Whitechapel, 1888, 20 years after the main storyline of the game with Jacob and Evie Frye.
In addition to the Jack the Ripper campaign, stevivor.com reports that the "Assassin's Creed: Syndicate" DLC will also have A Long Night exclusive mission, The Last Maharaja 10 mission pack, Streets of London" game play pack, XP boost, two top-tier sets of gear and weapons.
A few days earlier, Ubisoft has announced a place where fans of the game can gather: the Assassin's Creed Council.
"The Council is the number one destination for fans of the Assassin's Creed universe," Ubisoft said, as reported by IGN, "and provides direct access to the people creating the game for an exclusive 'behind the scenes' take on the series. Members will always be kept up to date via direct live information from the Producers, ensuring they are the first to have all the latest information."
Membership to the website is free and can enable members to add content to create an "exclusive Council Chamber." The website also provides members with direct and exclusive content on the series as well as communication with the game makers and other fans. Additionally, members can also add their own content, vote on other's content and elect members for an exclusive "Council Chamber" where they can win a studio trip, meet the development team as well as attend in special events.
