Kate Middleton, Prince William divorce rumors: couple denies all allegations; will attend state dinner together

Contrary to what several gossip websites claim, Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, are not divorcing, Inquisitr reports. In fact, the royal couple are set to appear in the state banquet at the Buckingham Palace for Chinese President Xi Jinping later this month.
Rumors of a separation arose when the Duchess of Cambridge did not make any appearances with her husband following the birth of their second child, Princess Charlotte, in May. Celeb Dirty Laundry claims that Kate and Prince William are being forced to attend social events together to put up a show on how their marriage is working, despite problems. Royal observers are claiming that this is a PR stunt for the two, who seem to be on the road to a divorce. However, it has been confirmed that the two will be at the state dinner for President Xi.
"The State visit is a result of the invitation that William made when he visited China earlier this year," a royal source told Daily Mail. "Catherine will be there."
The dinner will be hosted by the Queen, and is the first State banquet for Kate since she married Prince William four years ago. According to Daily Mail, the Prince is looking forward to nurturing relations with China to help him alleviate the problems with illegal wildlife trade.
People reports that as the leader of the United for Wildlife coalition, Prince William has been passionate about the cause, calling on President Obama and President Xi to work with him to fight illegal wildlife trade.
Price William recently wrote an op-ed for the Financial Times, wherein he shared his views on the alarming issues facing wildlife today, from illegal hunting to global warming.
"I cannot imagine what it would feel like if the last elephant or rhinoceros in the wild died — and I then had to explain to my children how we let it happen," Prince William wrote. "It would be impossible to reassure them with a straight face that we could still reverse climate change or end intractable conflicts."
The Prince is confident that through partnerships with various global leaders and representatives, communities will be able to avenge the deaths of park rangers who have been victimized by poachers, and the animals who also fall victim to illegal trade. He wrote, "This is a battle we can win. And given the importance of this issue to our global collective confidence, we really cannot afford to fail."
The Prince and Duchess of Cambridge are also set to make an appearance at a conference for World Mental Health Day on October 10 at Harrow College. Mind CEO Paul Farmer said, "We are delighted that the Duke and Duchess Of Cambridge will be joining Mind to celebrate this year’s World Mental Health Day."
