The second public beta testing for "Street Fighter V" is rife with issues similar to its first beta launch according to the reports.

The most affected feature due to several technical issues is the matchmaking system.

"Unfortunately, several new issues arose last night in regards to our matchmaking system and the rate at which matches were made," Capcom said via their official blog. "We are not confident that the matchmaking rate will improve significantly throughout the course of this beta period. That said, user experiences will vary."

The company adds that the beta will be "limited" and "will not operate exactly as we intended." However, the servers will remain running but the matchmaking will be slow. To compensate for the wait, players are allowed to access training mode. The beta will run through Oct. 25 as was planned.

"While players wait for online matches, they are free to access training mode, and there are new features added to this version that allow players to change the training dummy to be computer AI, or be playable by a friend locally," Capcom explained.

Game Spot explained that Capcom had to take the game offline and put it back again due to the game bugs. The outlet adds that the only way to play the beta is through the preordered game.

According to Destructoid, the second beta was intended to determine the effectiveness of cross-platform gaming between PC and PS4. The first beta was for PS4 users only. So far, there have been no release date for the third beta for the game but Game Spot reports that the release date for "Street Fighter V" will be somewhere around this year until March 31, 2016 and will only be available for the two gaming platforms.

In other news, it was announced that there will be a total of 16 characters for the game. However, only 14 have been revealed so far, leaving 2 more to go. According to Christian Post, it is rumored that one of the two unknown fighters will be new while the other one is a recurring character.

Matt Dahlgren who is Capcom's director of brand marketing revealed in an interview that the classic character is "well-known."

"You pretty much know what the classic characters are. There's mainstays in the series that are pretty much always present," Dahlgren said as reported by the outlet.

He adds that the recurring character may not be from "Street Fighter 2" as what is popularly rumored.
