Sony confirmed that they will be releasing a remastered version of the original "Gravity Rush" on PlayStation 4. Details for "Gravity Rush 2" were revealed during last week's Tokyo Game Show 2015.

While Sony confirmed the news a few months ago, it was made clear that there will be retail version or physical release coming to North America and Europe where it was previously known to have digital-only release copies of the game. North American preorders for "Gravity Rush Remastered" can be made through Amazon, according to Geek Snack.

SCEA head of software marketing Asad Qizilbash confirmed the physical release through Twitter.

Meanwhile, preorders for the Asian version with Chinese and English text translations for the game can be made through Play Asia. It will be released on Dec. 10 this year, way before the official release for North America and Europe which is on Feb. 9, 2016. The North American and European versions sell at a retail price of $29.99 per copy while the Asian version costs SGD$57.90.

A Limited Collector's Edition has been announced for Asia as well. It will be released on the same day and costs SGD$129.90. It will include the PS4 version of "Gravity Rush Remastered," an action figure of protagonist Kat, action figure background and 3 postcards. It also comes with three original DLC packs including "The Spy Pack," The Maid Pack," and "The Military Pack."

Additionally, those who order Blu-ray disc versions of the game may have the chance to win "Gravity Days" a mini comic book of the game, according to Gear Nuke. PS Plus game clients who order the digital copies have the perk to download the game's theme for their PS4.

Meanwhile, news for "Gravity Rush 2" has surfaced as the official Japanese website for the game was launched which included screenshots, character info and details of the story. The game is also coming to North America as a PS4 exclusive.

"In the sequel to the acclaimed PS Vita original, you'll have brand new gravity-shifting options and combat mechanics at your disposal. Kat can now use three gravity styles that add more variety and combat options: Normal, Lunar, and Jupiter," the sequel was described, as reported by Cross Map.

Brian Dunn of SCEA further explained how features in the sequel work, via the PlayStation blog.

"In Lunar style, the force of gravity is reduced, making Kat lighter and quicker. In Jupiter style, gravity is increased, slowing down Kat's movements but making her more powerful. You can switch between Kat's three gravity styles seamlessly to combine the styles into different combos for each situation."

There is also Tag Battle System in "Gravity Rush 2" for better player assist.
