Whether you're anticipating for the upcoming "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" movie or having a movie marathon, why not make it a little more festive with these themed cocktail drinks with your friends?
These drinks are a great way to bond with people who share the same fandom with you. Here are 6 Star Wars themed cocktail drink recipes that every (adult) fan should try:
1.) The Dark Side Martini
Come on over to the dark side, they have great martinis! This drink cocktail is from Drink Lab and it is a drink basically made with rum and Creme De Cacao. Its distinct dark hue and garnish is reinforced with black food coloring. It's surprisingly easy to make and would sway anyone to come over to Bogan.
2.) Mustafar Cocktail
As the name implies, this is heavily inspired by the volcanic planet "Star Wars Episode III." This recipe is from The Retail Judge and the alcohol and ingredients used to make this were carefully chosen to represent Mustafar and Anakin's transformation to a Sith. The end result of the drink resembles the hot oozing lava of the planet. This is a worthy cocktail for aspiring Sith lords.
3.) The Death Star
This drink is more of how the ice is made to resemble the Death Star, however, if you're a hardcore fan you may already have an ice mold of it lying around. If not, the drink is still delicious and potent, according to Geeky Hostess since it is a mix of vodka, whiskey and Jagermeister after all.
4.) Bantha Milk/Blue Milk
Ahhh, this is a well-known beverage that Luke Skywalker drinks. In the movies, it is supposedly a blue-colored milk that comes from a female bantha and is considered rich, refreshing and maybe sweet. This recipe from Castles and Cooks takes on an alcoholic take based off on the classic White Russian Drink. The drink is made of coconut rum, amaretto, milk and cream while the blue coloring is taken from blue curacao.
5.) Dagobah Swamp Soda
Contrary to the word "swamp," this recipe from Clutzy Cooking is actually a minty and refreshing mojito. If you're the Jedi Grand Master Yoda seeking refuge, having this drink on hand during exile might not be so bad!
6.) Tatooine Sunset
Tatooine was the desert world where Luke Skywalker once lived throughout his early adulthood. This recipe from Fabulous Foods is inspired by the twin sunsets of the desolate planet. Go ahead and garnish it with a slice of orange and lemon for visual representation.
