Xbox's Phil Spencer is renowned for his openness in replying to queries by fans. On Saturday, he confirmed that Microsoft's Xbox Cloud technology Azure will be made available to all developers, even to exclusive PlayStation 4 titles.

"Azure services are available to any game, even other platform's exclusives. We wouldn't keep someone from using," Spencer said on Twitter.

The Twitter comment was in response to a user commenting that he would "hate to see the franchise lose out on Azure Cloud computing and servers."

Softpedia believes that if the Azure cloud technology is used successfully, it could potentially draw more game studios to producing games for the Xbox platform. In turn, this could encourage more gamers to Microsoft's console.

According to the Pure Xbox site, the cloud technology has given Microsoft's console an advantage over the competition. However, only a handful of Xbox games has actually utilized this technology.

Upcoming games that are planning to use the cloud include "Crackdown 3" and the highly-anticipated "Titanfall 2." The sequel to "Titanfall" is expected to be offered on multiple platforms including the PS4.

Although there have been queries about "Titanfall," Spencer explained that Microsoft will not be revealing additional details about similar third-party applications until the games' official publishers are ready to provide more information to the public.

Gadgets 360 said that during last weekend's social media discussion, Spencer also went out to answer a number of popular questions from gamers. When it came to making first -party Xbox 360 games, the head of the console's division explained that it was only a matter of time before those games became compatible to the current Xbox One device.

Recently, Microsoft has added an additional 16 Xbox 360 games that can now be played on the Xbox One. This includes bestsellers such as "Braid" and "Halo: Reach."

Xbox intends to release more titles on a monthly basis although he is not willing to reveal any upcoming titles.

According to the same source, the backwards compatibility feature has made gamers play more hours on the console. Since November 12, gamers have collectively added 9 million hours to playing Xbox 360 games.

When it comes to producing an Xbox app for devices running on OS X, Spencer says that creating such as app has not been considered as there does not seem to be enough requests for it. Gamers who wish to show their interest can put their request on the specially-designed Xbox Feedback forum.
