Movie lovers and fans would be delighted to know that Star Wars Episode 8 is going to hit the theaters in December 2017. What is more surprising is that the probable parents of Rey might be revealed. This is one of the highlights of the said episode that would be looked upon.
At the end of Episode VII, Rey played by Daisy Ridley found Luke Skywalker. This scene triggers the fans on figuring out the truth behind her parentage. It has been a mystery on who left Rey behind on Jakku.
So, who could be Rey's parents? Morning Ledger reports that Daisy Ridley managed to reveal the identity of Rey's parents during the interview. On the other hand, she did exhibit something that fans could be looked upon and that is Star Wars Episode 8 will divulge Rey's parents. In Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, Darth Vader was exposed to be the father of Skywalker.
Among the candidates as the potential mother and father of Rey are Luke Skywalker, Star Wars One protagonist Jyn Erso and Obi-Wan Kenobi. There are also theories that Rey might have been created by Supreme Leader Snoke.
ITech Post reports that some fans of the saga movie theorize that Rey might be the daughter of Obi-Wan. Others said that Luke Skywalker could be a possible relative of Rey. This is because Luke appears to have all the character traits that could father Rey.
Another thing is that Luke Skywalker seemed to be the most obvious choice for many fans. Erso, on the other hand, could appear to be as Rey's grandmother as she was there during the reign of Darth Vader. This becomes a puzzlement to most fans and lovers and the fathoming becomes much more difficult.
Meanwhile, Daisy Ridley said that the much-awaited answer will be uncovered in a year when Star Wars Episode 8 will be out in theaters on December 15, 2017.
