The sassy, confident and powerful singer Meghan Trainor is unable to warm the hearts of fans by performing at Jingle Ball concerts! Sadly, she has canceled the show for health reasons!

The strong young singer was not to give in that easily to her sickness unless it had been really requiring her to rest. But it seems that she has been in a long series of performances since past few weeks which has taken its toll on her.

While she was determined to go ahead with the remaining 2016 shows and had set her mind to not to let go of the last moments of the year, she was put at complete rest by the health care specialists.

For the next two weeks she is on "strict vocal rest" as maintained by Perez Hilton. The fans will miss their favorite gorgeous singer in the New Year celebrations but stay tuned, guys; she is up to something thrilling in 2017 as she says on her Instagram account, "Can't wait to see you in 2017!"

The remainder of the holidays Megan Trainor is going to rest at home among family members and the tour that included performances in New York City, Connecticut, Florida, Washington, D.C., and her appearance at the Jingle Ball in Atlanta, Georgia, ET Online reported.

Meghan is known to music since very young age. She wrote, recorded, performed, and produced 3 independently-released albums while she was a young teen - from 15 to 17 years. She pursued a career in song writing from the start of 2011 when she signed a publishing deal with Big Yellow Dog Music.

But for now, it is obvious that the singer is taking some good rest as she is heading to her home in Nashville, Nantucket. Fans wish her get well soon and many warm wishes for Happy New Year.
