Bandai Namco Increasing the Pokkén Tournament Participation With New Pokemon Character Introduction[VIDEO]

A character called "Empoleon" was introduced in the most famous Pokken tournament. The character is one among the 20 Pokémon users can choose to play with another player.

The Japanese company, Bandai Namco of Arcade group, which introduced the popular fight Pokken Tournament. The tournament is a two player game using Wii console style controllers instead of the traditional joystick and buttons. These Wii consoles give a better feel of the game and excitement.

Earlier, the company told its fans that it will release a new Pokemon character on December 15, 2016. As promised, Bandai Namco has recently announced the introduction of new character "Empoleon" in the arcade roster for the Pokken tournament.

Way back in August 2013, Bandai Namco hinted at Pokken tournament during Pokemon game show event in Japan. It was officially announced on August 26, 2014, at an event held by Famitsu. The game or tournament is called Pokemon Tekken in Germany and Austria.

In 2015 World Pokemon Championships it was revealed that the game would be available on Wii. Since then the company is working hard to develop on Wii consoles. A demo is available for the player attending the tournament.

The main focus of the tournament is action as against technical gameplay introduced in Pokemon Tekken. Every player thoroughly enjoys the game. The game adopts various Pokemon techniques such as Mega evolution and special moves. Players can also use support Pokemon to bestow special benefits like buffs in attack or defense mode.

In the Pokken tournament, each player can play with the opponent from the other networks and ranking is given based on victory or defeat at the end of each game. However, players can also choose an opponent from the same shops depends on difficulty level and time of start. But ranking will not vary in this category.

With the introduction of Empoleon, the company expecting that new enthusiasm will be instilled in the tournament. The new character, Empoleon, will be available from December 15, 2016, onwards.
