Sherlock Season 4 Air Date, Update: Sherlock Ready To Show Off His Dark Side In Season 4?

Those who are eagerly waiting for Sherlock to return to the big screen need not wait anymore. Sherlock is all set to return with the season 4. The latest season of Sherlock named,  The Six Thatchers, is scheduled to air at the beginning of 2017.

The season is expected to have a lot of twists, mysteries and everything to keep its viewers glued into their idiot box.  Along with other things, the season will witness John and Mary Watson welcome a new member into their family.

That's not all, Mr. Holmes is also expected to try to uncover the mysterious messages he received in season 3. For all those who don't remember, it was something he spent time over, along with John for a face off with his enemy.

By looking at the trailers so far, audiences can expect the season 4 to be of great importance. In fact, the trailers are enough proof that the makers are seriously thinking about pushing Sherlock into a murkier territory.

The second trailer that released supports the claim really well as viewers get to witness foreboding clips as well as ominous images. If that's not all, the viewers get more when Smith appears to claim he wants Sherlock to do the worst thing possible to his close friend.

Going by what the trailer offers, viewers can assume that a friend might be in danger. No wonder, the only way Smith can harm Sherlock is going after his friends.

Now, Sherlock season 4 is all set to become a series game changer. The makers of the series have made it clear through the trailer that viewers will get a good dose of mystery and thrill in the upcoming series.  Even the cast and crew have earlier mentioned that the series would become a memorable one.

Interestingly, the final episode has been termed as The Final Problem with the sole aim that things won't remain the same at the end of the season. Smart move, right?

With so much of hints and clues, viewers can easily expect this season to become an all time high. Even more so since Sherlock has always been a man full of mystery. The season gives clues as if some dark secret related to Sherlock will come out.

There's another interesting part to the trailer where Sherlock utters the words, I Love You. However, it is too early to assume that there might be a romantic angle. But going by Sherlock's reputation, viewers might expect it to be some sort of a password or a code to vault or chamber.

Till then, all the viewers can do is assume and speculate to what the season brings forth. The clock is ticking!
