Android Nougat 7.1.1 enabled Moto X Play spotted at GFXBench: Might Skip Android Nougat 7.0, How to Install?

Back in October, Motorola announced its Android Nougat update for Moto G 4th-Gen whereas Moto Z is slated to receive the update soon. However, speculations have begun hovering on the powerful Moto X Play.

As per reports, recently the Moto X Play spotted running on Android Nougat 7.1.1 at GFXBench hinting that it will skip the Nougat 7.0 version and would be released in rather an advance version i.e. Nougat 7.1.1, GSMArena reported.

Google is the parent company for Android OS, and hence, Google Pixel became the first smartphone to get Android Nougat 7.1.1 update. Android Nougat has some impressive features like its update Doze Mode 2.0, App Shortcuts, and much more. Android Nougat features Apple's 3D touch like feature called App Shortcuts that lets the user tab and select any of the apps pre-listed. The Nougat Multitasking mode using which the user can toggle between two applications with just a double tab.

Android Nougat 7.0 has been officially launched, and many smartphones have received the update as well whereas Android Nougat 7.1.1 is a new patch update which will take Moto X Play by storm. The smartphone get its power from Snapdragon 615 SoC coupled with Adreno 405 GPU and Octa-core processors. Moto X Play currently runs over Android Marshmallow 6.0, but with the recent tip from GFXBench, it will soon get its Nougat 7.1.1 update.

As per TechTimes, the Android Nougat 7.1.1 firmware release date is not confirmed yet. However, sources suggest that it will release soon. Further, Motorola smartphones like Moto Z Play, Moto X-Force, Moto X Pure, and Moto X Play with receive Android Nougat 7.1.1 update over-the-air that needs to be downloaded and installed as soon as it releases. Once available, the users will get a notification in the Notification Panel prompting them to download it and then install it so that the Android Marshmallow 6.0 can be dissolved and replaced by the new Android Nougat 7.1.1.

Google Allo is compatible with Nougat which means the user can have the update and a virtual digital assistant for assistance.
