Human civilization is the greatest discovery and also the greatest mystery of the universe. But this creation of nature can be wiped out one day with the increasing escape of the atmosphere of this Earth. The latest research has unveiled this bitter truth.

According to TED Talk, Anjali Tripathi, an astrophysicist from the famous  Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, has claimed that the atmospheric escape can lead to a major disaster on this planet.

Atmospheric escape is a process. In this process, essential gasses leave the atmosphere of a planet. The crucial truth is those essential gasses never come back.  

A calculation indicates that 400 pounds of hydrogen and nearly 7 pounds of helium escapes from the atmosphere of this Earth in every single minute. The important fact is if this process continues, then Earth will be turned into a dry and desolate planet, like Mars.

The eminent astrophysicist has given a number of reasons for this state. She added that near future 'the sun is going to get brighter', and it increases the heat, and this situation will decrease the volume of gas on the Earth.

The ultimate outcome will be horrible as the Earth will become a desolate state like Mars.

Earlier, sources of NASA have unveiled many features of Mars' atmosphere.

Now it is a known fact that many important gasses together create an atmospheric boundary on Earth, and life flourishes within this boundary. That means this atmosphere is the key source of life and the protector of earth from several impacts, like meteorites and others.

But the decrease of these gasses can easily wipe out the source of life, and make the planet a reddish one like Mars.

Previously scientist researched and opined that atmospheric escape can be a great cause of the present state of Mars. They suggest that many years ago this red planet was much wetter, but the mentioned atmospheric phenomena made the planet a dry one.

Now the report of the famous astrophysicist, Ms. Tripathi also contains some positive sides. She opines that the atmospheric escape process will take a long time to create a fatal impact on the Earth's atmosphere, so human civilization has sufficient time to recover from this upcoming danger.

Apart from this, another positive side is the gravitational force and the thickness of the Earth's atmosphere, which are much better and strong compared to the Mars'.
