The E Com giant, Amazon, is planning to breakthrough in terms making delivery to the customers. Even though it has tried and tested several things, including the use of the drone, it has now planned to introduce a flying warehouse.

According to The Washington Post, Amazon is looking for the use of giant airships that would serve as flying, mobile warehouses. This would help the retail giant to make faster deliveries using the drone.

Amazon, has recently tried its drone delivery facility, in Britain, for the very first time. But the use of massive airships, so as it is called, as referred to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, has been one of the latest interests. In fact, this is a big step from any online retail giant, so far.

The retail biggie wants to reach to the customers in every way possible. For instance, someone watching a baseball game in the stadium might want to wear a team jersey, which at that time would be impossible to get. But with this drone delivery, Amazon wants to make it possible and deliver the product right away to the customer, irrespective of where they are.

With this concept, customers would be able to place orders and get the product delivered at any place, within a few minutes. Now, that's a smart move. Moreover, with the airborne warehouse doing rounds above the head, it would be simpler.

However, for all those waiting eagerly to get the product delivered at a stadium or somewhere similar, there's a sad news. As per Yahoo News, Amazon, hasn't come up with any tentative date for the debut of such a system. An Amazon spokesperson was also contacted for brief, but there has been no comments.

Even though Amazon has put forth a patent of the product they want to be designed, in most cases such patent doesn't take the form of an actual product. However, earlier, Google and Facebook used airships and it is only a matter of time to see Amazon's wish turn real.
