The increasing trend of the use of Heroin among men and women today is a burning issue around the world. Current study reports from several corners unveil that heroin has already surpassed the prescribed painkillers.

Most importantly, this incident has increased the death rates. According to CDC or Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the use of Heroin in the United States has increased rapidly.

CBSNEWS reveal an important data of CDC. The data shows 30 states are acquiring the top list of deaths from overdose of heroin and painkillers. The surprising truth is painkillers belong to the group of a particular drug known as opioids.

The study reveals that several states like Connecticut, North Dakota, Massachusetts have already recorded the growth of death by 100 percent. The highest percentage belongs to New Hampshire with 191 percent.

Dr. Tom Frieden, head of the CDC, has opined that a good number of Americans are facing the problem as a result of the misuse of prescribed opioids or illicit opioids.

The CDC reports have clearly exposed the grim condition of the heroin use. The data provided by CDC explores the high rate of heroin deaths in 11 states. Tennessee has already experienced the increase of death certificate for about 43.5%, but the major increase happened in South Carolina with 57.1%.

It is now a clear fact that Heroin, fentanyl, and painkillers are regarded as the key drivers behind this acute condition.

Even Dr. Tom said that urgent action is extremely necessary to see that opioid use is properly guided and health care providers should look after the matter very seriously.

To control the situation proper law enforcement strategy is the need of the hour. The strict law can only reduce the use and the availability of the heroin and illicit opiates.

Sources of Modern Healthcare report that from 2010 to 2014 the number of deaths by overdose is 25,426. Apart from this, the most painful fact is heroin-related deaths tripled to 23% by 2014.

The increasing number discovers several facts related to one bitter truth. The truth is a huge number of addicts buying heroine randomly as it became cheaper in the U.S. One key reason behind this cheaper rate is, the major amount of heroin is imported into the U.S.

The New Year is approaching and the health care department should be ready to provide utmost care to prevent the misuse of heroin and painkillers.
