Warner Bros has announced the release date of 'Blade Runner 2049' on October 6, 2017. As per its agreement with the IMAX Corporation, it will be released IMAX theaters. At the same time as its theatrical release, the Oculus VR and Alcon Entertainment will be launching the movie in the virtual reality format too. It means that you will be able to experience the movie as if you are inside it.

The movie will see a new blade runner and an LAPD Officer K (played by Ryan Gosling) trying to find one of the original Replicants - Richard Deckard, also known as Rick - in an effort to save the society from the potential chaos.Rick (played by Harrison Ford) has been missing for 30 years.

Gizmodo reveals that Deckard is hiding in the 'remains' of Los Angeles in the movie. He is expected to play a substance role. It is believed that the CGI (Computer Generated Imagery) effects will be used to make Harrison look younger in the movie.

''Blade Runner 2049'' is a direct sequel to the original Blade Runner movie which was released in 1982. It also has Hampton Fancher, the original movie's writer, on board. Denis Villeneuve (Sicario) is the director of the movie. The Terminator Fans claims that it is Rated R, which means that kids under 17 require an adult to accompany them as a guardian to see the movie. As we all know, this in itself is a huge incentive for the teenagers to go and watch the movie by droves.

Earlier, we saw a younger Arnold Schwarzenegger re-created with the help of the CGI in the movie 'Terminator Salvation', and again in 'Terminator Genisys' where he had a death-match with himself.

There are talks that the CGI Replicant may use a younger body double for motion-tracking while the original actor will be used for 3D scanning.
