Top 10 Trending Smartphones On Week 1; Samsung And Xiaomi Amongst The Most Searched Brands

2017 has just arrived and the first week of trending phones is here in terms of searches, reviews, etc. Samsung has outperformed any other manufacturers after being listed the most trending phones in this explicit list. Samsung is then followed by Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo and so on. Many of the devices were either had the same rank in the previous week or have gained and lose their positions. 

1. Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime - Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime took the first rank with its 5.5-inch PLS TFT Full-HD touchscreen. The smartphone is powered by in-house Exynos 7870 Octa which is a predecessor of what Samsung Galaxy S8 will offer shortly. The smartphone has been ranked as 1st by GSMArena and it has retained its topmost position after attracting 134,686 daily hits. 

2. Samsung Galaxy J7 ( 2016 ) - Earlier it was in 3rd position, the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) has inclined the ladder and currently on the 2nd position after garnering 101,851 daily views. The device was launched back in 2016 and received much acclaimed due to its Exynos 7870 Octa SoC coupled with 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display. The device lacks water-resistance which has been added in the 2017 iteration.Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) is a cheaper alternative for the S-Series lineup. 

3. Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 - Apart from Samsung, Xiaomi has an impressive lineup and certainly most of them are trending smartphones. Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 took the 3rd rank after falling from its 2nd position in the previous week. It has received over 98,748 daily hits. The smartphone has a massive 5.5-inch IPS LCD Full-HD Display with Hexa-Core Snapdragon 650. The device offers two variants that are 2GB/16GB and 3GB/32GB at an affordable price which had made it top the chart of the top 10 trending phones in Week 1.

Xiaomi Redmi 3s Prime - It was earlier in 5th position, the Xiaomi Redmi 3s Prime zoomed to the 4th position with its configuration that includes 5-inch HD Display and it is powered by Snapdragon 430 bundled with Adreno 505. It also features a 3GB RAM with 32GB of internal Storage that can be further expanded as per required. The device has attracted 78,404 daily views.  

5. Vivo V5 - Vivo V5 is the successor of Vivo V3 and was shifted to the 5th rank on week 1 after being on 4th rank in the previous week. The device is pure power as it includes a 5.5-inch IPS LCD HD display coupled with Octa-core processor and 4GB RAM to name few. Vivo V5 has garnered around 69,751 daily searches. 

6. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 - Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 arrived back in August 2016 and has sustained a slot in the trending smartphones. In the Week 1, it is located in 6th position thereby ditching its old 7th position with over 71,137 daily views. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 features a 5.5-inch IPS LCD Full-HD Display powered by Deca-core 2.1Ghz processor. The device has garnered more response from those searching for cheaper yet high-end smartphone. 

7. Oppo F1s -Oppo F1s has slid to the 7th position this week after being in the 6th position last week with daily hits of 64,780. Oppo, a Chinese Manufacturer is known to provide smartphones in cheaper rates. The Oppo F1s has a 16-megapixel front camera for exceptional selfies. The device sports 3GB RAM along with its Octa-core SoC that makes it quite a fast processing smartphone. 

8. Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) - The Galaxy J5 (2016) is an impressive device which rose to 8th rank this week with over 63,588 daily searches. The device is packed with 2GB RAM and 16GB Internal Storage and started manufacturing in March 2016. It is powered by Snapdragon 410 processor which makes it quite fast citing its high specs and low price.

9. Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge - Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is surely one of the most powerful devices manufactured by Samsung. It has an Exynos 8890 Octa/Snapdragon 820 processor which is enough to compete with a rival like iPhone 6. The device currently ranks 9th after losing its previous position of 8th rank. 

10. Samsung Z2 - Launched in August 2016, the Samsung Z2 is the new entrant in the list and currently ranks 10. The device has minimal yet impressive specifications and its price have made it one of the hottest selling smartphone of Samsung. The device is priced at just $90 and features 1GB RAM paired with 8GB ROM and 4.0-inch 480x800 pixel display.
