‘Fairy Tail’ Update & Chapter 518 Spoilers: Erza Unlocks Dragon Abilities? Upcoming Movie Details Revealed!

Eileen’s plans didn’t turn out quite exactly last Chapter 517 on “Fairy Tail.” The Dragon Queen had succeeded enchanting herself unto the body of dragon slayer Wendy. But, as fans though that Erza would need to kill Wendy in order to defeat her mother, a sudden turn took place. Wendy managed to reverse Eileen’s spell and returned to their bodies respectively.

Quite a shocking turn of events indeed. Since the Scarlet Despair was noted to have mastered enchantment for years, Wendy defeated her without Irene’s decade experience. Is Irene really that weak? This is also one question that would be answered in the upcoming “Master Enchantment” chapter. Given that Wendy used up too much of her enchantress magic she then leaves everything to Erza. So as expected, a one on one battle between the mother and daughter would be featured in the next chapter.

Speculations have been ever rampant as “Fairy Tail” fans wonder what would become of the mother-daughter relationship. Fans suggested that the same event for Gray and his father Silver Fullbuster might take place for Erza and Eileen. Wherein the matter would be that Silver turned into evil but struggled to be alive just for his own son to kill him. After Gray then kills him, he passes his mastered Ice Devil Slayer Magic to him. Eileen might be just as still guilty on how her creation of dragon slayer magic killed thousands so as to prefer her daughter to kill her and pass on her Master Enchantment magic to Erza.

Moreover, Erza is still the renowned “Fairy Tail” strongest S-Class mage, so there would be no problem defeating her mother. Yet, Erza was known to be the Dragon Queen’s daughter, so fans also speculated that her “inner” dragon abilities might be showcased in their battle. Rest assured, Erza already mentioned that no matter what happens she would stay and protect her family in Fairy Tail.

Lastly, after the first movie “Fairy Tail the Movie: Phoenix Princess” debuted back in 2012, an ecstatic news for fans was announced by Comic Book. An upcoming movie was officially titled “Fairy Tail: Dragon Fly” is expected to be launched this spring 2017.
