OnePlus 3T and Huawei Mate 9 are both shot to fame recently for being the most powerful and cost-effective gadgets. Out of all Chinese smartphones, the comparison of OnePlus 3T(OP3T) and Huawei Mate 9 will be critical for the users to pick the right one.
Huawei Mate 9 is a 5.9-Inch smartphone the biggest phablet of 2016. While OP3T is 5.5-inch phone launched in November 28, 2016. Both phones have a pixel resolution of 1920 X 1440.
OnePlus boasts with the latest and the most powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 quad-core processor. While Mate 9 is packed with Kirin 960 which is even more powerful and responsive than SD 821, reports GSMInsider. OP3T is supported by 6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB and Huawei Mate 9 is powered by 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, and expandable up to 2TB with Micro SD slot!
OP3T is running initially on Android Marshmallow 6 but later given Android Nougat 7 update in last December. Mate 9 is rolled out with Android Nougat 7 and is upgradable to another two years. Oxygen OS is skinned on the Nougat version in OP3T, whereas EMUI 5.0 is skinned over Android software over Mate 9.
OP3T is having a magnificent camera with both rear-facing & front-facing cameras offered at 16MP resolution. While Huawei Mate 9 offers Leica dual-lens rear-camera at 12MP and 20MP for crisp and vibrant colors and 8MP front-facing camera for perfect selfies. Both smartphones make other brands run for their money with super speed performance and there is hardly anything to distinguish between them.
OP3T comes with a 3400 mAh battery and Mate 9 comes with a bigger 4000 mAh battery. Mate 9 edges out in competition with a Quick Charging that charges phone up to 50% in 30 minutes and full charge in 45 minutes, as per Recombu.
Mate 9 is bulky in size and price too, with a price tag of $900. But, OP3T is priced at 50% of Mate 9 at $479 in the US. To sum it up, if price and quality are important then chose OP3T, otherwise it is up to the customer to chose between the two.
