Apple iOS will no longer support the 32-bit apps on newly built IOs platforms. Apple has introduced iOS 64-bit apps since the launch of iPhone 5S in September 2013. The 64-bit appear to be better and faster and Apple warning its users to replace 32-bit apps in their Apple devices.
Apple has started issuing a warning to users who are currently using 32-bit apps on the Apple devices. Apple has recently launched iOS 10.3 Beta 1 version for the developers and public beta, which includes new features like Apple ID Profile- visit the profile of Signed in, Find My AirPods- to track iPods , weather on maps, one-handed iPhone Keyboard, iCloud Storage usage stats,
According to GSM Arena, the users will get a warning message stating that this app may slow down the device performance and user needs to update to the 64-bit app version. Apple has started encouraging 64-bit apps from developers since iOS 9 release and throwing alert messages to update the apps. Apple mandated that developers submit 64-bit apps from February 2015 and start rolling out updates from June 2015 onwards.
In the case of Waterslide, a 32-bit app is still available in App store for purchase. Though the app is not removed, but when the users try to open the app, it throws up a tweaked warning message that "Waterslide may slow down your iPad" and "Waterslide needs to be updated", as per 9To5Mac.
Apple has decided to rescind the 32-bit apps from iOS 11, which will be released in September 2017. The new iOS 10.3 beta version is preparing groundwork for the final launch that supports only 64-bit apps in iOS 11. Apple will remove 32-bit apps from App store shortly and in turn pressurize the developers to adapt to the 64-bit apps.
By shifting 64-bit apps version, Apple hopes to improve the App quality and give refreshing look to the App Catalogue in the App Store. Last month, Apple has removed around 50,000 apps.
