“Survivor” Season 34 named “Survivor: Game Changers” would yet again gather people to beat obstacles to achieve the Sole Survivor title and of course, get the million dollar prize. Yet, the 20 castaways competing for this season are those who had already competed in the previous “Survivor” franchise.
Inside Survivor revealed that the next season would be originally named “Survivor: Game Changers – The Mamanuca Islands.” Hence, the tribe names were unveiled to be the Mana and Nuku tribe. Those survivors who wore red/orange would be under the Mana tribe while those who wore the color blue goes with the Nuku tribe. More so, it was also said that the Season 34 was filmed on Fiji last June 2016 which is the same place where “Survivor Millennials vs. Gen X” was filmed.
The “Survivor: Game Changers” Nuku Tribe was identified to be joined by Cirie Fields, Andrea Boehlke, Sierra Dawn-Thomas, Brad Culpepper, Sarah Lacina, JT Thomas, Ozzy Lusth, Debbie Wanner, Tai Trang and Zeke Smith. With that said, the Mana Tribe would consist of castaways Jeff Varner, Malcolm Freberg, Ciera Eastin, Tony Vlachos, Troyzan Robertson, Aubry Bracco, Caleb Reynolds, Hali Ford, Michaela Bradshaw and Sandra Diaz-Twine.
Speaking of twists, Host Jeff Probst mentioned on Entertainment Weekly that a big change regarding immunity idols would be tweaked on the upcoming installment. He stated that given that the season would be “Survivor: Game Changers,” they will remove the consistency of having immunity idols.
“Usually there’s a theme. You have to find them in a certain way or work a certain amount of effort to get it. Not this time. One might drop in your lap, one might be at Tribal” he added. He also noted that it would depend on how far the idols would be played on the “Survivor: Game Changers” season.
Probst then concluded that it would be fun to watch the castaways on how far would they go to get it. Rest assured, the “Survivor: Game Changers” would wash ashore on screens on March 2017.
