It's not been that long for the world to hear the news of Beyoncé getting pregnant with twins. George Clooney and Amal Clooney then soon steal all the limelight from her with the announcement of the couple expecting twins. The couple was in the news recently with the rumors of their divorce. And with this announcement the couple shots down all such rumors.

Amal Clooney's pregnancy news was confirmed by George Clooney's friend Matt Damon in an interview with ET Canada. Matt Damon commented that "I almost started crying. I was so happy for him. And I was like, 'how far along is she?' And he goes, 'eight weeks."

'The Talk' host, Julie Chen even confirmed the arrival date of the twins of the George, 55 and Amal, 39 is in June. The tied the knot in Venice, Italy on Sep 27, 2014. The pop star and rapper couple Beyoncé and Jay Z is also expecting their twins this year.

In an interview with ET in 2015, George Clooney has confessed the reasons for him to fall for Amal Clooney. According to him, Amal is a very caring, intelligent person with a great sense of humor.
