Nintendo recently affirmed an Expansion Pass for DLC in "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild". It will be available on both Nintendo Switch and Wii U after the game's release on March 3 in North America and Europe.
According to Nintendo Life, the new entry in "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" is priced at £17.99 ($19.99). The revamp will include two sets of downloadable items, which are to be released this coming summer and holiday.
They are the first ever set in an expansion line of the game's serial name, Gematsu reported. Instantly upon pre-purchase or purchase of the Expansion Pass, three new Treasure Chests will show up in the Great Plateau region of "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild."
One of the Treasure Chests will include a shirt with a Nintendo Switch logo which players could wear during their escapade. This is exclusive only for the Expansion Pass.
The two remaining Treasure Chests will bring valuable entries. The initial pack, which will be released in summer comprise "Cave of Trials" challenges, new difficult mode and new highlight for the in-game map.
Whereas, the second set of the update is for a Holiday launching. It contains brand new trials players will relish; a new dungeon and prototype story will be included as well.
Players could avail these two content packs for both Switch and Wii U variants of "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild." However, these cannot be sold separately; they're only attainable in the Expansion Pass.
"The world of Hyrule, which we created for "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild," is so large and vibrant that we wanted to offer more for players to experience within it," Nintendo creator Eiji Aonuma said.
