Jennifer Lopez News: ‘Shades of Blue’ Actress Opens Up About Dating Younger Men

Age is just a number for singer-actress Jennifer Lopez. The actress recently opened up about dating younger men at 'Ellen DeGeneres Show'. Lopez went straight ahead and declared her relationship status. The multitalented star also claimed she has no inhibitions when it comes to dating younger men.

"I don't date younger men. It's not like you have to be younger, it's not about that. You just meet people and if I go out with them, I go out with them," Lopez told Ellen DeGeneres in her show that would air on Tuesday. The 47 year old actress further added that it is the person that matters more than his age. She also said she if she likes a person age becomes irrelevant to her.

According to People, the mother of two had dated 29 year old actor/dancer, Beau "Casper" Smart. The "On the Floor" singer split from him in August 2016 after having an on and off relationship for over five years. Lopez had dated Beau who was younger to her and it was the first time she had ever dated someone younger. She claimed that the incident labeled her right away.

She clarified that age doesn't really matter to her Entertainment Tonight reported. The "Gigli" actress also mentioned whether someone is younger or older is irrelevant and what matters is if she is connected to them through their soul. The singer/actress is currently linked to rapper Drake. However, Lopez clearly clarified all rumors stating it was just a musical collaboration.

When the daytime show host, DeGeneres showed her a cuddly photo of the duo, Lopez mentioned they were just hanging out. DeGeneres snapped back asking if that's how they write songs. Interestingly, Lopez said Drake had sent her a song he wanted her to be on. She also claimed she has no clue what Drake would do with the song.
