The most-anticipated Android 7.0 Nougat update for Huawei P9 seems to be arriving before March comes to an end. The 2016 flagship model of Huawei is running Android Marshmallow since its launch. The company said that it would roll out Android 7.0 Nougat to Huawei P9 the soonest. Until now, numerous users are waiting for the revamp to arrive in their smartphones.
The report for Huawei P9's Android 7.0 Nougat update was not a surprise for users. As a matter of fact, speculations that Nougat revamps will be unveiled to Huawei P9 owners started in July 2016, Android Authority reported.
The Android 7.0 Nougat update was formally circulated to the smartphone in December 2016. Unfortunately, only China-based people got the said enhancement for Huawei P9.
The authorized Huawei India Twitter page also announced that EMUI 5.0 revamp will be reaching Huawei P9 users late of the 2017's first quarter. The tweet goes this way, "get ready to twiddle thumbs; EMUI 5.0 update is coming soon."
Furthermore, Android 7.0 Nougat will come alongside EMUI 5.0 to Huawei P9 in Q1 2017, Phone Arena reported. On the other hand, Huawei P10 and P10 Plus, the latest flagships of Huawei are running the new EMUI 5.1
March is the last month of this year's first quarter that's why Huawei P9 owners should assume to acquire the long-awaited in the coming days. However, the worldwide update will not automatically reach all the smartphones. As a result, some users may not obtain EMUI 5.0 and Android 7.0 Nougat in March.
The Huawei P9 and P9 Plus were considered as the most famous smartphones of the company. Therefore, getting an Android Nougat update is favorable in gaining more sales.
Last December 2016, the company transported more than 10 million Huawei P9 and P9 Plus worldwide and this is another record-breaking for the company. Apart from the standard Android7.0 Nougat modifications and the latest EMUI 5.0, Huawei is also expected to include the new Google-released security patch.
